LWRWC members made large pot of hearty vegetable soup and a salad for the residents in their fully equipped kitchen.

On Wednesday, March 5,2025, members from the Lakewood Ranch Women’s Club made a site visit to the SOLVE Maternity Homes and EVOLVE program campus. They were given an in depth behind the scenes tour of two residential homes by house mom Monique and learned about the way SOLVE and EVOLVE have impacted our community.

The LWRWC Club members contributed food and supplies to prepare a nutritious dinner for the residents that evening. The menu consisted of a hearty chicken vegetable soup, tossed seven layer salad, a tray of oven baked potatoes, cornbread muffins and cookies. For many women caught in the cycle of poverty, addiction or abuse, pregnancy is an additional challenge that can lead to abandonment and despair.

Since 1976, SOLVE been empowering at-risk pregnant women to become confident, capable parents and thriving members of society. By meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, SOLVE is able to stop the cycle and positively impact future generations.

The Lakewood RANCH Women’s Club is proud to support SOLVE as one of its “adopted charities” and continues to find active innovative ways to support their mission.
