The purpose of this organization is to create friendships and support among members of the community by presenting programs serving the interests and issues of today’s women.

Outdoor Pops

Thirty six members and guests of the LWRWC Club attended the Sarasota Orchestra Outdoor Pops Concert at Ed Smith Stadium on Friday, May 2.

Featured vocalists Grace Leer and Rick Brantley performed songs by country music’s legendary singers Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson and Lee Ann Womack.

Titled “Country Hits: Songs from Nashville”, the concert included favorites “Crazy”, “All My Ex’s Live in Texas”, “Always on My Mind”, “Jolene,” and “9-5.” The concert was
coordinated by Helen Levin, LWRWC’s Special Interest Group chair.
