Perlman Music 12/30/2019

Year Ends on a High Note

A group of LWRWC members, husbands and friends celebrated the end of 2019 off-the-ranch outings programs at a Perlman Music Student Recital
on Thursday, December 30, 2019. The concert was held in a heated performance tent on the grounds of the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. It was part of the 16th annual PMP Sarasota Winter Residency and featured some of the most gifted musical talents of our time.

The winter concerts are the culmination of an intensive 17-day program was founded by Toby Perlman, wife of internationally acclaimed violinist and conductor Itzhak Perlman. PMP offers unparalleled musical training for international students, ages 12 to 20+, who play the violin, viola, cello, and bass. With a faculty led by Toby and Itzhak Perlman, the PMP Sarasota Winter Residency offers an artistic and personal experience that changes students’ lives forever.

LWRWC was proud to give a donation to this phenomenal program and the 2019 LWRWC Program Chairs, Claudia Dombrow and Cathy Reinitz were asked to present the much-appreciated contribution on stage prior to the performance.
