New Member Gathering

The LWRWC Board hosted a New Member Gathering on Thursday, March 10, 2022 to officially welcome new and recent members to the Women’s Club family. Linda McMillan, LWRWC Membership Chair, created a delightful ambience with gnome handcrafted centerpieces that she designed and a wide assortment of packaged treats on all the tables. During her welcome remarks, Linda told the new members that Lakewood Ranch Women’s Club is a “wonderful venue for meeting new friends, participating in interesting activities, and getting involved in helping our community.”

The LWRWC Board members in attendance introduced themselves and gave a brief overview of their positions, backgrounds and key information about the club and its activities. This included sharing highlights of programs, off-the-ranch outings, Special Interest Group (SIGs), and philanthropic community service activities. Board members encouraged new members to volunteer for activities and committees that interest them because it is a great way to get involved, have fun, and make new friends.

The highlight of the New Member Gathering was the opportunity to meet with the new members and get to know them. They come from different places and diverse backgrounds and Linda McMillan was delighted to welcome this impressive group of women to the LWRWC family.
