LWRWC – 25 Years

To date, LWRWC donated over $500,000 in cash & in-kind to their adopted charities, HOPE Family Services, SMART Riding Therapy, Solve Maternity Homes & Children’s Guardian Fund. Throughout the pandemic , LWRWC “Sewing Angels” sewed masks that were donated to local charities and businesses. LWRWC Blankets for Babies Committee donated over 500 gorgeous handmade blankets to local charities for babies and children in need.

LWRWC puts the fun in fundraising and members enjoy serving on committees that include Fashion Shows, Author’s Luncheons, Holiday Market Luncheons, Holiday Dinners, and more. These events support LWRWC Adopted Charities and are a great way to have fun with friends! In January 2022, thanks to successful charity fundraisers in 2021, LWRWC donated over $65,000 to charity.

The Women’s Club holds monthly general meetings at LWR Townhall, with a summer hiatus, which feature presentations by guest speakers on topics of interest to women today. The Club offers a fun-filled year-round schedule of ”Off the Ranch” events including sightseeing trips, cultural and sporting events, luncheons, nights out, and Special  Interest Groups that provide a great way to meet new friends with similar interests.
