Something for Everybody

On Thursday evening, September 13, 2018, the Lakewood Ranch Women’s Club (LWRWC) said goodbye to summer in style with a Social and Potluck get-together at the LWR Town Hall.

Kathleen Cleveland and Monika Templeman gave a short welcome address and thanked the Hospitality Committee (Joannie Lawrence, Julia Dennis, and Diane Wagner) for creating a beautiful and festive ambience. Monika also shared an inspiring welcome message from 2018 LWRWC President, Eileen Buzzard, who was unable to attend.

The highlight of the evening was a video created by LWRWC Webmaster, Frankie Bailey to showcase the fun and exciting activities, meetings, adventures and fundraisers for the club’s adopted charities in spring and summer of 2018.

Set to music, the ladies enjoyed the photos capturing the “off the ranch” outings, the very successful “Set Sail for Fashion” Charity Fundraiser Fashion Show Luncheon, the Baby Boomers Authors Lunch & Fundraiser for Hope’s Children’s’ Library, the monthly speakers, activities, and social lunches.

The Best is Yet to Come
