Mistletoe Market Celebrates Joy of Giving
On Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, Lakewood Ranch Women’s Club members and their friends celebrated the Holiday Season with a Mistletoe Market Luncheon Fundraiser at the Polo Grill in LWR. This very popular event attended by 240 women combined a festive day of shopping and a delicious lunch with raising money for the club’s three adopted charities.
With the joy of giving on everyone’s mind, the ladies were delighted with the variety of lovely and unique holiday gifts. The 30 vendors (12 new vendors and 18 annual favorites) offered a wide array of wonderful items including fine art, fiber art, artisan crafts, handcrafted jewelry, purses, clothing, children’s items, home décor, gourmet food, gadgets and holiday decor.
Event Chair, Mary Beth Steffens; Vendor Acquisition Chairs, Jean Muccini and Janet Stickel; Registration Chair,
Helene Levin and Raffle chair Claudia Dombrow and her committee all brought great organizational skills to ensure a fun-filled and successful fundraiser. The event was a sell-out and LWRWC raised approximately $7,000 from this event to help HOPE Family Services, SOLVE Maternity Homes, and SMART Riding Therapies.
Decorations Chair, Sheila Seashore set the ambience with a beautifully decorated Fete Ballroom enhanced by brightly wrapped presents that adorned each table.
The Women’s Club wishes all of you and your families the happiest of holiday seasons and a very Happy and Healthy New Year!
