LWRWC Annual Bazaar-Boutique-Luncheon
was held on Wednesday, October 24 at the Polo Grill-Fete Ballroom. A sold-out crowd of 240 members, friends, and guests enjoyed early holiday shopping with over two dozen vendors who exhibited an eclectic mix of merchandise including seasonal and Florida themed decorative items, artisan crafts, treats, plants, children’s books, jewelry, bags, and flower arrangements.
The WC sponsored a “split-the pot” raffle and awarded four generous money prizes, distributed membership information, and sold Recipes from the Ranch, a cookbook published by the club as a fundraiser.
The event was chaired by Jean Muccini and Janet Stickel assisted by Elaine Steinfurth. Jean Muccini commented, “The Bazaar Boutique was an amazing success thanks to all your [her committees] efforts. Members and Guests enjoyed a fun day of shopping and an enjoyable lunch.”
Jean made special mention of: Elaine Steinfurth and her team, Lynne Haf, Diane Kuna, Char Stocker and Kate Langsen who assited the vendors; Trish Newman and her crew of raffle ticket sellers, Gail Gilligan, Lucrezia Lackey, Wilma Nourie, Martha Pisoni, Norma Reynolds; Pat Mitchell and her registration team, Dianne Emmermann, Lyn Humphries, Sallie Feldman, Jere Hanchak and Mary Jane Morgan; Susan Ellis, Nancy Lo Piccolo and Kathie DeGregorio – decorating team; Janet Hough assembled the greeters, Sandy Brinkman, Susan Ellis, Bev Hebert, Mary Scott Lloyd and Diane Shaw.
A buffet lunch was served midway into the event and shopping continued afterward. All proceeds from the Bazaar will benefit the four charities adopted by the LWRWC for the past two years.
